Enordre

Bill 96, Law 25: everything in order.

Enordre reads your website, tells you what's missing under both laws, and reads it again every week. For the rest of the office, a box you plug in. No IT, no jargon.

Two minutes, no sign-up. An automated tool, not legal advice.

What we check.

The two laws every Quebec small business must follow, and almost nobody has time to read. Enordre looks at what matters, and only that.

Bill 96 · French

  • Every English page has a French version of comparable length
  • Buttons, menus, fields and messages in French on French pages
  • PDF documents offered in French, not only in English
  • Home page in French by default for a Quebec visitor
  • lang and hreflang attributes in place

Law 25 · personal information

  • Site served over HTTPS
  • Privacy policy published, reachable, in French
  • Privacy officer named, with contact details
  • Forms that say why they ask for an email or a phone
  • Cookies and analytics disclosed to the visitor

How it works.

  1. You enter your address

Vigie 96 reads up to 40 pages of your site, compares French and English, looks for your privacy policy and your forms. Two minutes.

  2. You get the report

A score out of 100, one per law, and the list of what to fix, page by page, in plain language. Printable, shareable with your web agency.

  3. We read it again every week

Enordre goes back over your site every week and writes only when something changes: a page that slipped, a gap that was fixed.

The Enordre box.

Law 25 doesn't stop at the website: it covers what's on your computers, who has access, what you do when something leaks. A small business has nobody for that. The box does.

  • Plug it in, that's all. A device the size of a book, connected to the router. No technician, no software to install on the computers.
  • A questionnaire, not a configuration. You answer about ten questions about your business; it does the rest.
  • It looks, it doesn't touch. Inventory of devices, file shares and backups; personal information left in the open; default passwords. Never a change to your network.
  • The documents the law requires, kept up to date: register of personal information, incident register, the officer's name, retention policies.

Your email is used to tell you when the box is ready, nothing else.

Frequently asked.

Is this legal advice?

No. Enordre is an automated, heuristic tool: it flags probable gaps and tells you what to fix. For a specific situation, consult a lawyer or the body concerned (the OQLF for language, the Commission d'accès à l'information for personal information).

Where do my site's and my box's data go?

To our servers, in Québec. Vigie reads your public website, nothing else. The box sends encrypted summaries (what, how many, where), never the content of your files.

You also make Léa, the receptionist?

Yes, same small team: Accueilo answers the phone for small businesses, Enordre watches their compliance. Two products, one principle: designed and hosted in Québec, French first.

What if my site is French only?

Then Bill 96 is settled for the site, and Vigie won't hold it against you. Law 25 remains: privacy policy, named officer, forms, cookies. That's often where the gaps are.
